Using Bagasse as Fuel
Beyt, B. 1977. Bagasse by definition is the refuse of the milling of sugarcane. The most important property, from the standpoint of burning bagasse, is its moisture content. Trash and mud have a tremendous effect on how bagasse burns. Today, there are two basic kinds of furnace to burns this fuel bagasse – the refractory cell and the spreader Stoker.
