Upgrading of Boiler Bagasse Feeder and its Control: CADP Experience

III and Nicolas, D.F. 2000.   During the first year of operation of CADP’s newest NEI-JTA 140-T (Boiler #3) in 1993, the need to upgrade Boiler #1 and #2 bagasse feeders was greatly felt. Lately, in view of the factory’s modernization and expansion program, the pneumatic combustion control system of the two boilers was converted to electronic system.
