The Use of Borax for Determining Sucrose in Non-Pure Sugar Products

     Hemedes, E.D. and Oliveros, A.R. 1967.  Canlubang Sugar Estate Laboratory summarizes and presented the results of the trials conducted on the use of Borax Method in the determination of sucrose during the crop year 1964-65. The tests runs parallel with Walker Inversion Method and concluded that Borax Method give outstanding advantages for its simplicity and rapidity. PROCEEDINGS OF THE PHILIPPINE SUGAR TECHNOLOGISTS.
