The Effect of Gibberellic Acid on Ethanol Fermentation Using Cane Juice

Samaniego, R.L., Layoso, J.D., et.al. 1981.  A study was conducted to investigate the stimulative effect of gibberellic acid on fermentative utilization of cane juice. Cane juice samples were treated with gibberellic acid (GA3) at various concentrations. Result shows that at 1.0 to 3.75 ppm concentration, an increased in fermentation efficiency from 90% to 95.08 and 99.72%, respectively are attained. PROCEEDINGS OF THE PHILIPPINE SUGAR TECHNOLOGISTS.
