Vaccari, G., Mantovani, G., et.al.  1990.  This paper accounts the possibility of the utilization of NIR technique for continuous on line control of various juices. During the 1989 campaign, a prototype of a continuous scheme was set up in a sugar factory in the North of Italy. This scheme allows the continuous determination in sequence of dry matter and sugar content of raw, thin and thick juices.
