The Application of Bacterial Amylase in the Cane Sugar Industry
Madsen, G. 1974. When evaluating the quality of raw sugar, one of the things that are measured and considered of importance is the content of polysaccharides, especially starch, causing low filtration rates and poor crystallization properties. The application of licheniformis amylase has been shown to be very well suited for hydrolysis of cane starch. PROCEEDINGS OF THE PHILIPPINE SUGAR TECHNOLOGISTS. August: 227-235.
