Technical and Economic Justification for the Use of Sugar Process Chemicals

Chen, J.C.P. and Rauh, J.S.  1991.  It is extremely important to recognize that process chemicals should be used continuously, without interruption, in order to achieve additional sucrose recovery. Application rates should be adjusted to correspond to changes in mill conditions, as determined by proper analytical methods.
