Sugarcane Factory Trials with Dextranase Enzyme

Clarke, M.A., Edye, L.A., et.al.  1997.  Trials on the addition of dextranase enzyme at two sugarcane factories, when high levels of dextran were reported, are described. In one factory enzyme was added to the juice before lime addition. In the other factory enzyme was added at the evaporator station. Effects were measured across crystallization and in sugar.
