Sugar Juice Sanitation An Effective, Economic Procedure

Casey, J.A. 1967.  Another effective and economical technique for juice sanitation is the use of the chemical, Cane Milling Aid (CMA). Application can be of a shock dosage of the mills with 15 to 20 ppm of CMA for 5 minutes each 30 minutes and by spraying a solution of 4 ounces of CMA in 5 gallons of water onto all areas where raw juice splashes once per shift following washdowns of the mills.
