Study on the Production of Briquettes from Bagasse

     Apolinario, M.A., Gatanela, D.V., et.al. 1998.  Bagasse char briquettes were produced in laboratory scale from air-dried bagasse of 20% moisture content. To obtain high percentage of carbonized char from the bagasse, the carbonization process was conducted by closed method in an improvised carbonizer. Bagasse to char conversion was 35-40%.
