     Paco, G.L., Crudo,E., et.al. 1984.  Two specific test procedures namely, the fermanganate time test and the hydrometer method used by La Tondena Inc. for determination of chemical purity or alcohol contents of high proof alcohol are presented here. Observations on the effect of various parameters in the tests and recommendations towards making the tests more applicable and acceptable under ambient Philippine conditions are also cited.
