Peralta, P.R.  1973.  The integrated fermentation process was successfully launched on a commercial scale by Central Azucarera de Don Pedro. The process was conceived to attain the following objectives: First, removal of yeast solid would minimize scaling of the distilling and rectifying columns as well as environmental pollution.
