Report on the URSUMCO Process Control System Development

     Derayunan, P.G. 2002.   This paper presents the impact of the existing automation to the productivity and efficiency of URSUMCO for CY 2001-2002 operations and the comprehensive plan detailing the steps toward a fully automated sugar manufacturing process using the existing Distributed Control System (DCS) to be operated by not more than 25 persons, benchmarked after the Australian sugar mills.
