Reduced Boiling House Recovery ESG
Shi-yang, H. 1984. This paper discusses the reduced boiling house recovery ESG formula of Noel Derr and Gundu Rao and on such basis presents a new formula. This formula considered the sucrose loss in final molasses in reduced recovery calculations, as it is influenced by the non-sucrose content, whereas loss in boiling house processing is not.
