     Locsin, M.V. 1959.  Samples of Philippine raw sugar received at Brooklyn Refinery of the American Refining Co. were tested and received an average rating on filtration rate, % fines and color units but wide variations were found between different Philippine mills with respect to filtration rate and % fines.
