Qualities of (Soda) Pulp Produced from Bagasse Stored for Various Lengths of Time
Samaniego, R.L. and Elazegui, T.A. 1980. Soda pulping of partially depithed bagasse with storage times, varying from 3 to 12 months at 3-month intervals was conducted. Evaluation of the pulping and physical strength characteristics of the pulps produced revealed that raw bagasse could be effectively stored for a maximum period of 6 months.
