Proper Water Treatment Reduce Boiler Failures, Ups Performance

     Dimaunahan, D. 1978.  The object of water treatment is to control the rate of scale build-up on steam-generating tubes to achieve extended periods of reliable operation. Good water treatment requires that proper control be given to water quality throughout the entire boiler and pre-boiler circuits, that includes the make-up water, steam condensate, feedwater and boiler water.
