Profile of a Wash Pond
Day, D.F. 1981. Wash table corrosion is a severe problem in Louisiana cane mills. It is a problem of recent origin brought about because of stiffer environmental regulations. The problem with cane wash water that bars its direct discharge into public waterways is that it has a high BOD. For the past campaign, the Cora Texas mill was monitored in order to determine the magnitude, economic cost and a possible solution to this problem. Profile of a Wash Pond.
