Atchison, J.E.  1989.  By 1990, production of bagasse pulp is expected to be 2,200,000 MT and bagasse pulping capacity to be about 2,500,000MT. Shown is the historical development of bagasse pulping capacity, actual pulp production and the estimated number of mills of 30 tons daily capacity or more. An indication is also shown of the bagasse pulp production worldwide, as a percentage of total pulp production from 1965 to 1990.
