Processing of Factory Waste by Reverse Osmosis
Henscheid, T.H., Matheson, A. et.al. 1977. Reverse osmosis can be used effectively and efficiently to concentrate Steffens filtrate to about 10o brix. It is also an attractive tool to fractionate and concentrate other waste streams generated in the processing of sugar. However, reverse osmosis does require meticulous attention to the operating parameters such as pH, temperature, suspended solids and limesalts. Processing of Factory Waste by Reverse Osmosis.
