Prevention of Rapid Deterioration of Sugarcane Molasses during Storage
Agarwal, S.K.D. 1984. Studies were made on the rapid deterioration of molasses caused by the bacterial contamination during storage at its original brix. This was associated with the development of a thick film of fungi, which floated over the molasses. Further deterioration was prevented by addition of Antifoam special-7421, a commercial product, which was earlier used to control spontaneous combustion of molasses.
