     Hernia, G.R., Escarilla, Ma. L.T.,et.al. 1982.  Mechanically harvested green cane showed significant increase in deterioration three days after harvest and burnt chopped canes 48 hours after harvest under conditions of Hawaiian-Philippine Mill District while in UPSUMCO a significant increase in deterioration for green chopped canes in three days and 24 hours for burnt chopped canes after harvest.
