Preliminary Study on the Rate of Deterioration of Mechanically Harvested Canes

L.T.,et.al. 1982.  Mechanically harvested green cane showed significant increase in deterioration three days after harvest and burnt chopped canes 48 hours after harvest under conditions of Hawaiian-Philippine Mill District while in UPSUMCO a significant increase in deterioration for green chopped canes in three days and 24 hours for burnt chopped canes after harvest.
