New Resin Decolourisaton Station at Finnish Sugar Porkkala Refinery

Ramm-Schmidt, L. and Hyoky, G.  1985.  At the Finnish Sugar Porkkala Refinery, the resin columns of 6m3 resin each were replaced during 1983 by new columns of 8m3. The paper deals mainly with constructional features of the columns. The new solutions have led to a significant increase in colour removal, combined with a decrease in water and chemical consumption.
