Mill Sanitation – Development of Methods of Control and Monitoring

     Pugh, M. 1981.  After preliminary work carried out at the Sameerwadi Cane Sugar Mill in Karnataka State, India, mill trials were continued at the Victorias Mill, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The biocides used were Hatacide 8, Hatacide 9, Hatacide 17 and Hydrosan. Result showed that improvement could be obtained both in the bacterial reduction and in maintenance of purity by the application of biocides. PROCEEDINGS OF THE PHILIPPINE SUGAR TECHNOLOGISTS.
