Implementation of Mechanical Loading of Sugarcane at URSUMCO

     Cabati, R. 1997.  URSUMCO plans to further increase its sugar hectarage from 1000 to 1500, which will require even more labor for harvesting and loading. In anticipation to problem of increasing labor cost and labor shortages, URSUMCO embarked on a mechanization program, incorporating mechanical loaders into their harvesting system.
