Gel Permeation Chromatography of Sugarcane Products

Saska, M. and Oubrahim, Y.  1987.  Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is a chromatographic method where a properly diluted sample is passed through a column packed with a porous packing. The molecules whose size falls within the separation range of the column are sized according to their molecular size which bears direct relationship to their molecular weight. Application of GPC to a variety of sugarcane products was conducted including core lab juice, molasses and sugars. Gel Permeation Chromatography of Sugarcane Products. Sugar Journal, June 1987:22-25.
