Experiences in Cane Handling and Gantry Operation in UPSUMCO

     Burgos, E.G. 1982.  The system of cane handling and gantry operation used in UPSUMCO was reviewed and result of the study revealed that the present system needs improvement. The individual activities of gantry equipment, truck support units and the operating personnel, including the parameters of each phase of the operation were evaluated by conducting time and motion studies.
