Evaluation of Post-Freeze Cane Juice Quality

Chen, J.C.P and Chen, J.J.J.  1975.  After several freezes occurred on and after December 16, 1972 invaded the southern part of Louisiana, cane samples were collected from 20 locations. Each sample was analyzed for brix, pol, clerget sucrose, invert, pH, acidity and stalk weight. Comparisons have been made in relation to: time (days), ambient temperature, cane variety, topped and untopped, burnt and unburnt, standing and lodged, etc. Evaluation of Post-Freeze Cane Juice Quality.
