Evaluating Transport System by the Economical Distance Concept

     Corpuz, F.H., Ticar, B.C., et.al. 1993.   An existing concept of maximum economical distance was modified to suit the characteristics of the local sugar industry. The extent formula was tested using data from selected sugar mills employing different transport technologies and the average maximum economical hauling distance for each system was computed and presented for discussion.
