Kampen, W.H.  1993.  The world’s largest and Brazil’s first – vapor-phase molecular sieve was started up successfully in Brazil on August 29,1993 at the Usina de Pedra sugar mill. The unit will produce absolute ethanol for pharmaceutical and motor fuel applications. It has the design capacity of 60 million gallons per year of 199.60 proof ethanol from wet ethanol feed at 1800 to 1920 proof. Ethanol Dehydration at Usina da Pedra.
