Effect of the Variation in Pressure on the Analysis of the First Expressed Cane Juice

Locsin, C.L. 1928.  The difference in polarization between hand mill and screw press juices is about of the same degree, as the differences found by applying varying pressures to the screw press alone. The difference in purity is larger due to the difference in the degree of disintegration of the cane before pressing.
