Determination of Dextran in Raw Sugar

Day, D.F. and Sarker, D.  1985.  This paper reports on a modified procedure of dextran analysis that can be used on a routine basis in the factory laboratory. The procedure utilizes an ethanol precipitation, as does the Roberts method to separate polysaccharides from simple sugars.
