Cost Reduction Through Effective Management Control (Locomotive Operation)

     Osmeña, L.D. 1978.  Transporting 350,000 tons of sugarcane/year canes by Company-operated units involved operating cost running by the millions of pesos. By introducing various tools of effective management, SONEDCO was able to reduce cost of operating these locomotives and cane cars by substantial amount.
