Continuous Vacuum Pan Design for Raw Sugar Mill

     Thelwall, J. 1997.   The basic design parameters for continuous vacuum pans are considered together with their effect on the process performance. Comments are made on the various types of continuous pan, e.g. long flow path and multi-cell. Both the theoretical considerations of crystal residence time with perfect to crystal growth and its effect on crystal size distribution are discussed.
