Compromise Boiling System
Toca, C.R. 1976. The boiling scheme consists mainly of boiling the “B” strike out of a “C” sugar magma footing with “A” molasses and using the “B” sugar resulting from this strike for magma as footing for “A” strikes. All the commercial sugar produced is from “A” striked. Graining is done on pure syrup or a blend of syrup and straight “A” molasses depending on the purities and try to granulate on a purity of 76 to 78. Compromise Boiling System.
