Puyaoan, E.B.  1967.  The combined use of the Lange Nephelometer and the Multiplex-Galvanometer can be used satisfactorily for color and clarity measurements of sugar solutions as dark as 4.5% transmittancy with more allowable adjustments for darker solutions. With these instruments, the clarity measurement is independent of color and concentration of the sugar solution hence can be regarded as the true clarity.
