Cold Liming at Sweet Crystals Integrated Sugar Mills Corporation

          Senining, A.C., Rigor, L., et.al.  2003.  High incidence of burnt canes in the district and delayed hauling of canes from the field to the mill are the main causes of high pH drop from clarified juice to syrup. This prompted management of Sweet Crystals Integrated Sugar Mills Corporation to use cold liming system of adding lime after hot and double liming system failed to meet their requirements.
