Barometric Condensers Good or Bad
Ziegler, J.G. 1976. Future designers of barometric condensers would do well to spend more time considering means to withdraw water smoothly and less on the internal baffling arrangement. Higher efficiency is possible if increased condensing area is provided and a section of coarse raschig rings could be an economical answer. But oversized and straight vertical leg lines and good steep accelerating cones are the first step toward good design. Barometric Condensers – Good or Bad. Sugar Journal, April 1976:39-41.
