Bagasse Grows Up

Oliveros, S.B.  1954.  Nylon generally starts with two raw materials called hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid. Furfural can be made from bagasse with no great difficulty. Both essential materials used for producing nylon can be made from furfural. And furfural can be commercially produced from sugarcane bagasse thus, it can be made in the Philippines.
