Bagasse Drying Versus Air Pre-Heating

To achieved boiler efficiency and to minimize the reliance on auxiliary fuel to methods have been recommended The main advantage gained by drying the bagasse over the air preheating is an increase in “burnability” of the bagasse. When used in conjunction with fly ash arrestor or wet scrubbers, the air preheaters are comparatively easy to install, less expensive and require little extra power.
