Acetic Acid from Alcohol

     Gumera, R.S. and Ebron, R.P. 1998.  Batch fermentation of alcohol tailings into acetic acid was studied using both submerge and surface fermentation process. Only dilute acetic acid can be produces from the biological fermentation of alcohol. Surface fermentation of alcohol into acetic acid was found to be economically feasible and is recommended for a small scale. PROCEEDINGS OF THE PHILIPPINE SUGAR TECHNOLOGISTS. August: 281-287.
