A Rapid Dextran Screening Test

Clarke, M.A., Bergeron, J., et.al.  1987.  A simplified haze test, developed by Tilbury in 1970 has been modified by Sugar Processing Research, Inc. for use as a rapid screening test on incoming cane at raw sugar factories. This screening test is not an accurate assay for dextran, it will give a result higher than the Amstar haze test.
