A Method of Boiling Low Grade Sugar

In adopting the method of boiling low grade sugar in which the graining is on low purity molasses, the low grade centrifugal capacity should not be congested and unnecessary speeding in the drying of massecuite, a “B” sugar having plenty of unremoved molasses is a poor seeding material and it takes longer time and requires more skill to grain on molasses than on syrup.
